The Dordogne region in France is famed for its geese and foie gras, its walnuts, its strawberries — all kinds of good things to eat. So we stopped one afternoon to view and photograph a large pen of geese whose livers were being fattened nicely on grain. But what interested us even more was this incredible French chateau behind them in the distance. Chateau du Treye sits balanced on the top and edge of an enormous cliff looking more like something out of a Disney movie than a real, live occupied “house” in 21st century Europe. I couldn't resist creating an impression of it.
